Finalmente sui grandi schermi! :D Questo è il mio personale "benvenuto all'estate", ed ora ve lo posso mostrare! Questa è la mia personale interpretazione dell'ingresso di casa di una fortunata sirena, ma ora permettetemi di raccontare la sua storia...
C'era una volta una sirena che dimorava in una colonia di gorgonie rosa, e alcune di loro si offrirono per diventare gli stipiti della sua Porta, così da sorvegliare coloro che passavano e desideravano entrare per visitarla. Sui fondali la nostra sirena trovò più tardi una bella conchiglia degli stessi colori del mare e decise di usarla come sua Porta; ebbe l'aiuto di molti pesci e creature marine per trasportarla fino alla sua casa e alcuni sussurrano che sia la stessa conchiglia che portò Venere sulle coste di Cipro dopo la sua nascita, ed è forse per questo che non sembra essere una conchiglia di questo mondo. Un pesciolino, però, innamorato della sirena, decise di non abbandonarla più e, lasciati la propria casa e i suoi cari, divenne il custode e la guardia del corpo della sirena, e ancora oggi lo possiamo trovare all'ingresso della sua Porta a svolgere il suo compito.
La sirena, però, decise di arricchire questo angolo di costiera corallina piantando molte alghe e piante acquatiche, così da attrarre tante creature marine e spingerle a vivere lì con lei. Da allora la sirena organizza grandi balli e feste nella sua casa per accogliere ogni nuovo arrivato ed è per questo che tutti le vogliono bene e sono grati per l'affetto e l'amicizia che ogni giorno lei dimostra.
Come potete vedere, il ciondolo è realizzato completamente a mano con paste polimeriche e micro sfere.
Per realizzare il pesciolino mi sono lasciata ispirare dalla tecnica del ricamo con paste polimeriche, che mi piacerebbe in futuro approfondire; sebbene sia felice del risultato ottenuto, devo dire che sono particolarmente orgogliosa delle alghe che sono terribilmente simili a quelle che talvolta si trovano a mare, quelle che ho realizzato hanno forse solo colori più vivaci di quelle reali. Gli stipiti della Porta sono stati realizzati per imitare il corallo rosa, per tale motivo ho mescolato varie tonalità di paste di colore rosa e bianco con quella trasparente, che è stata mescolata precedentemente con quella color carne che le ha dato quel particolare colore dopo la cottura.
Ad accompagnare il ciondolo, trovate una collana realizzata con perline di vetro di varie dimensioni e di varie tonalità di celeste, perle di vetro cinese, perline sfaccettate di quarzo rosa e vere perle, mentre la chiusura è costituita da un grazioso pesciolino e accompagnata da una sirena che si pettina i capelli.
La collana è accompagnata da un paio di orecchini, realizzati con pasta polimerica, perle vere e parti metalliche, sempre ispirati al tema marino e rievocanti il ciondolo stesso con i suoi colori, le alghe e i pesciolini rossi.

On the big screen at last! :D This is my "Welcome Summer!" project, and now I can introduce it to you! This is my personal interpretation of the door of a mermaid's house, but now let me tell you its story...
Once upon a time there was a mermaid who lived in a colony of rose gorgonians, some of them offered themselves to become her doorjambs, so that they could monitor everyone who passed to visit her. Later, on the sea bottom, the mermaid found a beautiful shell with the same colours of the sea and decided to use it as her Door; many fishes and marine creatures helped her to bring it to her house and someone still says that it's the same shell which brought Venus to the coast of Cyprus after her birth, and maybe that's why it seems not to be of this world, but of another one. One of the fishes who helped the mermaid with the door, a little one, fallen in love with the mermaid, decided to stay by her side and to become her guardian and bodyguard, even if he had to leave his house and beloved ones, and now you can still find him at her Door carrying out his task.
The mermaid decided to enrich that little part of the reef planting many algae and aquatic plants, so that a lot of marine creatures would have lived there with her. From then on the mermaid used to invite her neighbourhood to great balls and parties when a new neighbour arrived in the reef, so that they could know each other, and that's why they all love her and are grateful for her affection and friendship, which she always shows them.
As you can see, the pendant is completely handmade with polymer clays and micro-balls.
I used the polymer clay embroidery technique to make the little fish and I'd like to go into this technique in more depth in order to master it one day. Even if I'm proud of what I made, I have to say that I'm particularly proud of the algae I made, because they are so similar to those we find in the sea, maybe the algae I made have just more vivid colours than the real ones.
For the doorjambs I tried to imitate the rose coral, for this reason I used different shades of rose and white clays, I also used the transparent clay which was previously mixed with a skin colour clay which gave it that strange colour after the baking.
For the other parts of the necklace I used light blue glass beads of different sizes, chinese glass beads, rose quartz beads and real pearls, and I found for this work a fish-shaped lock matched with a mermaid who is brushing her hair.
Matched with the necklace, there are the earrings which are made with polymer clays, metals and real pearl; they are inspired by the sea and the necklace pendant with all its colours, algae and little red fish.
